Just a quick post to introduce you to the West Virginia 6.  They go to their foster homes today.  All their labs have been done and now they can just relax until it’s time to spay/neuter them.   Ginger is small and we already have a lot of interest in her. 
Charlotte- well she isn’t a Peke but I wasn’t about to leave this puppy in the mountains. She has extra back toes. 😁
Sable is very timid. She needs a friend. She has leaned on her puppy friends for comfort.  She will get better in a quiet home w a friend. (Maybe someone will adopt 2.). 
Bentley is a sweet one.  He looks like he has pug in him.  Sweet boy. 
Clementine definitely has Peke in her. She’s beautiful. I love them all. 
Brock has been called “Big Daddy” at the vet.   He's a big boy at 19 pounds.  He got this nickname because  this sweet boy took care of the little ones when they were in the mountains— in an off grid area.  But someone saw them.  And she fed them.   And she contacted us and asked for help.   That’s why they are safe.  She’s a hero.  

Fresia and Scout are both PVPC alumni.  They are best friends.  Fresia is younger and still full of energy. 
Want to share? Fresia likes to taste things in the yard. 
It’s better if she can sneak by mom and take it into the house. Scout is about 8 now. How did that happen?   She loves to wait for her dad by the gate.  At the end of the day, they’re pooped out.  Time to rest for these two beautiful girls. 💕💕
 

 Pebbles came to rescue so sick.  But look at her now!  She goes to her new home soon!   They fell in love w her the moment she met them when she first came into rescue.  I love a LOVE STORY!!

Every Peke has bad hair days.  And Snuffle is no different. Snuffle usually looks beautiful but when the humidity is down or it’s windy, oh my!  Snuffle is a honorary PVPC Peke.  His mom and dad have adopted several from us.  Snuffle came from another group but we say he’s part of us. 
Her brother Schmoo says, “don’t worry about it.   It’s just hair!”  🤣

January 24 was "CHANGE A PET'S LIFE DAY."   So many of you HAVE changed a pet's life.   And I wanted to share some pictures that you posted.
